2010– 2015 ASSEMBLEON UK (Guildford) Senior Project Manager and Technical Consultant In this position I was responsible for managing key customer accounts globally and leading the expansion and integration of SMT products into new, global markets. I managed high-volume, complex production operations and ensured that project goals were delivered against constrained timelines and budgets. As part of managing the product life-cycle, I planned and deployed resources based on demand and forecast, established project budgets and coordinated the activities of the project team with regards to SMT performance and project deliverables. I drew upon my product development experience to ensure strict compliance with quality procedures at all times. In addition to this I navigated New Product Development, computed total solutions for customers to address multiple technical issues and defined service offerings in terms of availability, scope and pricing. I applied Lean Sigma techniques to streamline business processes and improve performance as well as implemented change management techniques to drive a continuous improvement culture, champion best practice techniques and improve bottom-line profits.

(Livingston, Scotland) Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager In this role I managed high-volume productions and steered cutting edge technologies including design improvement and process development. I coached and advised engineering teams to adopt systems and processes that maximised production capability and minimised waste, applying lean methodologies. I maintained strong lines of communication with senior management and operational teams across multiple, multinational and industry-leading corporations. I was also responsible for directing two Global Project Engineers whilst reporting to Functional Engineering Managers across 20 sites which required prioritising duties and managing my time efficiently. It was in this role that I co-developed an innovative process which applied forensic engineering techniques to reflow soldering technology, achieved significant cost savings and won an Innovation Award in 2006. It was also here where I instituted concept and direction for Jabil equipment to develop the industry’s first Seasonal, Pay-per-Use pricing model.
