Inbound Supervisor
CurrentStarting at Sweetwater I was trained and qualified in all aspects of the facility to include but not limited to, Order picking, packing, loading, LTL, bidding carriers and PIT operations.I am certified on the fork lift, counter balance, OP, pallet jack rider, and reach truck. My overall duties as an Inbound Supervisor are to always have a pulse on the inbound operations, conveyable receiving, conveyable put away, non conveyable receiving, non conveyable put away, and the dock.Every day begins with a morning meeting with management and then a brief for the crew to include any safety issues, amount of volume to be received for the day, communications from management pertaining to pay or holidays, and stretching.Throughout the day we keep the flow moving and address any issues that may arise, from personnel issues to IT or Maintenance. We strive to keep positive attitudes and work as a team to get musicians their gear in a timely manner. All of this is possible through multiple programs, some of these include Microsoft Office, Excel, 4D, and DOMO.Keeping an eye on work flow is a must and having the ability to flex personnel where they need, keeps everything running smooth. Great communication is always the biggest asset to any successful company, and continually striving to strengthen communication is a must.
