Velomax was an entrepenurial start up that manufactured, marketed and distributed high tech bicycle wheels. The company was founded in 1998 with a single employee and over the next six years grew to become a recognized and respected brand that set new industry standards for quality and performance. With manufacturing in USA and Asia, Velomax was ultimately distributed throughout the world. As founder, I had hands on involvement with every aspect of the company including production, brand managment, product development, finance and accounting, global logisitics, human resources and the occasional dumping of the garbage; these were all activiites I was intimately involved in during the rapid growth of this fledgling company. Velomax had both in-house production in California and outsourced Asian manufacture to accomodate our OEM and international clientele. Velomax was ultimately sold to Easton Sports - bicycle products division. Currently, wheels, as direct descendents from the Velomax acquisition, have grown to be the largest part of their bicycle component business.

Primary business was sourcing of products from USA or Europe for distribution in Asian markets in consumer goods and clothing, with strong emphasis in branded apparel. Created and licensed apparel lines, including marketing thereof. Involved in international finance, LC creation and administration, supply chain administration. procurement, international shipping logistics, HR and other various activities. Dynamic, fast paced and ever-changing environment made each day very interesting yet highly challenging.
