- Broadcast technology trends moving rapidly from analog to IP- Gained proficiency in multiple AoIP technologies such as Wheatstone, Axia and Lawo products, with a focus on Wheatnet and Ravenna-based workflows.- Combined baseband installation and maintenance skill sets (Krone, custom D-sub & XLR/TRS terminations & cabling) with new IP system requirements. E.g interfacing legacy studio infrastructure with AoIP routers.- Expanded knowledge of AoIP concepts to include PTP, routing, redundancy practices and detailed operation of crosspoint matrices and Lawo & Wheatstone audio routing system implementation.- Became an SME for Tieline OB equipment, heavily involved in the scoping and delivery of multiple national OBs, both vehicle and site based- Additional competencies in installation and operation of Orban audio processing hardware, Broadcast Bionic suite of products including Bionic Studio phone system and Bioncs Director automated video switcher (in conjunction with hardware video mixers like Blackmagic ATEM and software mixers like vMix)- Studio camera system implementations using a combination of SDI / NDI protocols across multiple studios, including retrofitting legacy studios to meet new online video requirements- Deployment and integration of Office AV products such as Crestron for video distribution, Dante for directional zoned audio and Brightsign digital signage
