I work in creative marketing and writing with experience in law, healthcare and space. I've been in this line of work for over 15 years.At the health IT company Surescripts, I've written communications for C-suite executives, including the CEO, written and produced our award-winning podcast on healthcare and technology ("There's a Better Way") with our chief marketing officer, and created articles with storytelling described as "some of the best of its kind" in B2B content marketing. At the startup Quub, which builds small satellites, I created and wrote the tagline "tracking the pulse of the planet" to capture the mission of data-gathering in low Earth orbit for the purpose of climate change mitigation and Earth observation. I recently earned a master's degree in science writing from Johns Hopkins University in May 2024, and in 2023 I started Short Chats with Space Cats, a newsletter dedicated to high-quality Q&As with scientists, engineers, designers, educators, and others who work in space science and exploration. All this might sound like a lot of ego, and while I take pride in the writing and other work I've done, I know that none of it happens on my own.
