I am a Contract Manager who enjoys working in the Industrial sector...(who wouldn't?) I've spent the last several years in the Project Manager and Sr. Project Manager roles working on 50+ projects in energy, petrochemical, mining, medical, and other industrial facilities across the Mountain West, Central Plains, North East Coast and Southern States. These roles have included client contract negotiations, assembling and coordinating design, project buyout and procurement, subcontractor negotiations, scope defining, project scheduling, project meeting management, RFI management, submittal processing, budget control, conflict resolution, and day to day construction management. Basically everything from cradle to the finish brush strokes of Punchlist B.More recently I have been working on reviewing and negotiating client contracts. This includes thorough review of scope, budget, schedule, and boring (but important) legalese. Despite the sometimes monotonous wordy reviews, it is still exciting to work with several clients each week to initiate new, and sometimes remodeled, industrial projects across the United States. It's also a thrill to engage with the Great American Blue Collars no matter how thick the accent or which type of barbecue they prefer. The work ethic that flows through our great industrial community continues to bring great strength to our nation, and I'm proud to be a part of it.MBA Energy & Industrial is always striving to better serve the industry and are wonderful team to be part of. If you would like work with our team, please feel free to reach out to me personally. I can be reached by phone at 208-313-7104, or by email at bchristensen@mba-nrg.com.
