Responsible for occupancy management for the residence halls (5500+ beds), and oversight of the Family Housing and University Apartments (425 units) occupancy management. Provides leadership and support in the implementation of the Housing Management System, StarRez, including but not limited to developing systems and applications, development of training sessions and materials, and on-going support for collaboration with other members of the Residence Life Leadership Team. This position requires communicating effectively within the department, with students, parents, staff, and with agencies beyond the campus. The position requires extensive application of computer databases and management systems as well as a basic understanding of the development of software and web-based programs and the integration of new programs into operating systems, applications, networks, and databases. This position requires the ability to analyze and solve problems.

Responsible for occupancy management for the University of Oregon residence halls (4,900 beds), and oversight of the Family Housing and University Apartments (425) occupancy management. Provides leadership and support in the implementation of the Housing Management System, StarRez, including but not limited to developing systems and applications, development of training sessions and materials, and on-going support to University Housing staff. Provides direction and oversight of Family Housing and University Apartments and front desk management, personnel, administrative functions, procedures and policies, departmental policies/goals, and working with various tenant, residents, and staff groups.

Occupancy Management - Managed all aspects of occupancy for the University of Montana’s 9 residence halls and 2,400 beds including application, assignment, cancellation, and room change processes. Helped to develop and manage all processes revolving around the residence halls including front desk operations, move-in/out processes, break housing, conference housing, etc.Marketing & Communications - Responsible for creating marketing and communications in the form of print, email, website, and social media. Created and standardized department forms for both print and online. Managed the Residence Life Office website, social media pages, and StarRez Portal.University & Housing Systems - Implemented and managed the day-to-day operations of University of Montana’s housing management system, StarRez. Managed the room access card systems, Onity and Persona, as well as coordinated access and security door schedules through Blackboard system. Developed a high level of understanding and knowledge in regards to the University’s Banner system including both the front end forms as well as the back-end tables through SQL.
