I am a highly skilled facade engineer with a strong background in facade and external envelope design, analysis, evaluation, and construction of building facades across Australia and New Zealand. I am responsible for ensuring the exterior building envelope meets both aesthetic and functional requirements, working closely with architects, builders, and other engineers to develop facade systems that are structurally sound, energy-efficient, and visually appealing. My expertise includes NCC FP1.4/F3P1 weatherproofing performance solutions, NZBC external envelope PS2 and PS4 peer reviews, and new-build facade performance design and specifications. I excel in providing solutions for complex facade interface details and conducting construction installation, detailing, and performance reviews. Additionally, I am experienced in external envelope diagnostics, remedial engineering, and reclads.I am highly proficient in conducting finite element analysis of complex facade structures and elements, evaluating building and facade wind pressures to AS/NZS1170.2 standards, designing aluminium components to AS1664 for bespoke suites and architectural elements, and in glass design to AS1288 for facades, shop-fronts, roofs, balustrades, and other applications.
