This company is using satellite images to monitor the Dutch environment. Satellite images contain different spectral bands, such as red, green and blue (the visual spectrum), but also near-infrared and short-wave infrared. Some of these spectral bands have a worse spatial resolution than others, and it is my task to improve these resolutions with the help of deep learning. I created a deep learning platform as proof of concept where the increase of spatial resolution can be demonstrated in Python and Tensorflow. -
