I designed, built, and deployed a robust data pipeline to gather camera-side metrics from our devices in the field for storage and analysis on our backend, over 3 months. This pipeline replaced a third-party service, and costs over 5x less to maintain.I also built out a data visualization system to monitor health and business logic from data we receive from apps and cameras. This system has helped catch and diagnose degradations in performance, monitor the company's growth rate and solve customer device/app issues.I reduced unnecessary storage for some camera recordings, which has saved the company ~30% on our total storage bill.

- Designed and developed an iOS app for real-time automated monitoring of beehives, for use by commercial beekeepers.- Built back-end system for data storage and IoT sensor data transmission with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This allowed connected sensors to send MQTT messages to DynamoDB, which would forward them to the app.- Coordinated with founders to push a fast-paced work schedule, resulting in the completion of the initial software system by the end of internship.
