Any and all Engineering support needed while company is growing its Denton, TX facility. Responsible for creating Work Instructions / SOP’s, Trouble shooting and correcting issues on the assembly floor, Engineering liaison to Peterbilt for Engineering and Quality issues. Assembly Floor layout and design, Manufacturing Cell Layout, Jig and Assembly Aids, Prototyping and cost justification. Launched new production processes and equipment, process control and training (help on the floor with production whenever needed also). Also work with QA team in RCCA, 8D projects and completion, ISO9001 auditing and "first piece" verification manufactured from new equipment / machines (Amada Punch / Laser tables, press brakes, etc).

-Responsible to achieve the cost budget, schedule, scope of work, product definition, and weight target related to the engineering for routine to moderatelt complex projects.-Work closely with Design Engineering, Certification, Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to lead and coordinate projects within the definitions of the airframe manufacturer and airline specifications, regulatory requirements and ZSUS requirements.-Develop engineering schedules that supports the organization’s requirements, airframe and customer requirements.-Ensure the engineering budget is maintained.-Engage with internal resourced to ensure fulfilment of the project. This includes acquiring commitments from functional leaders for the needed resource allocaitons.-Collaborate with other project engineers.-Help ensure project performance while documenting and working on schedule and delivers high-quality product to the customer on-time and within budget.-Monitor and track project changes to ensure the non-recurring budgets are revised appropriately.-Coordinate project completion with the affected groups.

- Assures that products and processes conform to applicable drawings, technical specifications, regulations, and customer requirements. - Supervises quality assurance personnel.- Develops and documents quality assurance procedures.- Develops and implements corrective action as required by customers and FAA regulations.- Resolves customer quality issues.- Resolves supplier quality issues.- Supervises the quality system in Manufacturing or the Weber Repair Station.- Be familiar with material review board operations- Must maintain compliance with SAE, AS 9100 quality management system requirements.
