Hi! I'm Brandon Williams, a highly motivated and dedicated student at Texas Tech University, where I am studying Information Technology with a concentration in Data Analytics. My passion lies in leveraging data to drive better business decisions, and I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques that can help me achieve this.With over 2 years immersed in the world of technology and business, I've had the privilege to collaborate with renowned organizations such as Ibotta, Urbethh, and Extern. Through various projects and leadership roles, I've honed my skills in Python, SQL, and Tableau.In my current role as a Data Privacy Engineer Intern at Ibotta, I have conducted privacy assessments using SQL to analyze data handling, storage, and usage within customer databases. My initiative in privacy risk reduction involved identifying and mitigating potential privacy risks to ensure compliance with CCPA, GDPR, and various other standards. I have collaborated with Risk and Legal teams to reduce potential noncompliance.One of my favorite projects, the "NBA Hall of Fame Predictor," achieved an overall 80% accuracy in determining if an NBA player was in the Hall of Fame, highlighting my skills in Python and data analytics.Outside of technology, I find joy in nature, often exploring hiking trails and enjoying the great outdoors. Growing up in Texas has fostered my appreciation for outdoor activities and the serene beauty of natural landscapes.
