Brandon's Gutter Service offers a range of services including gutter installation, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. They also specialize in repairing and maintaining underground rainwater drainage systems and providing pressure washing services. As a local contractor, they collaborate with homeowner associations, apartment complexes, and residential homeowners for annual service maintenance on gutters, exterior maintenance, and installation projects.In my role as an owner, operator, and manager, I was responsible for various tasks including handling incoming phone calls, providing service estimates, scheduling appointments, negotiating contracts, ordering supplies for job sites, ensuring deadlines were met, managing accounting operations(including accounts receivable and accounts payable), overseeing advertising and marketing efforts managing budgets, conducting employee training on job tasks and as well as ladder safety, and organizing safety meetings.In the inaugural year of 2001, the business attained sales exceeding $12,000. Following the subsequent success, I reached a point where I could commit to full-time involvement in the business, commencing in 2005. Over the years, the business experienced significant growth with gross sales surpassing $475,000 in the last fiscal year 2022.

During My tenure at Brandon's Gutter Service, I had the privilege of partnering with companies as a contractor, specifically catering to repossessed homes. In this capacity, I managed different work orders ranging from grass-cutting to property structure evaluations, meticulously documenting any issues encountered during the processAdditionally, I worked with Kaleb's Property Services during that period.

In 1989, I began my work journey at Winn Dixie in customer service as a front-end Customer service clerk, ("aka Bag-boy"). At the age of 18, I ventured into meat training within the department. I was then honored with a promotion to the role of assistant Market Manager at the age of 23 years old. Recognizing my abilities, I achieved another milestone by becoming a meat market manager at the age of 26. As a market manager, my responsibilities included overseeing various aspects of the store operations. This encompassed tasks such as creating schedules, conducting training sessions, and ensuring proper product ordering for sale specials. It was my duty to meet weekly sales goals and implement strategies to boost sales while minimizing shrinkage by organizing and enhancing the presentation of meat counters, lunchmeat cases, and freezer cases. Additionally, I was entrusted with managing a wide range of products, ranging from frozen food to fresh meat, and adapting to seasonal changes. Meeting company guidelines, I diligently maintained purchase-to-sales ratios as part of my role as a market managerI successfully completed the Safe Food Managers training course and obtained my certification. Moreover, I consistently maintained an above-average profit margin, which showcased my adeptness in managing financial aspects. Notably, for a span of four years, I had the privilege of being ranked among the top 5 most profitable stores within the Raleigh division.
