The purpose of this position is to help people live their lives to the fullest by helping facilitate the print & delivery of informational, educational or promotional materials that provide a superior member experience, motivate and engage members, and ensure we bring innovative print and fulfillment solutions in a timely, accurate, effective, and efficient manner. The Print Sr. Buyer/Planner is responsible for ensuring effective print production, project management and vendor management. The primary focus is to manage the overall purchasing effectiveness of quality printed materials to support the needs of the business while proactively identifying the most economical print delivery format and method (ie. digital, conventional, electronic).

Worked closely with sales, vendors, and department managers as needed to estimate print, large format, digital, mailing, and fulfillment projects. I was also responsible for purchasing paper and handling paper claims and returns with suppliers.8/06 – 5/11 Customer Service Representative, Prevaro Edina, MNWorked directly with sales, customers, and internal departments to plan and oversee the completion of all print, lettershop, fulfillment, and kiting orders. Maintained and strengthened customer relationships. Managed any outside purchases needed for my projects (i.e. die cutting, UV coating). Other duties included proofing, press checks with customers, and reporting (i.e. inventory, status). Suggested and executed a new procedure for submitting production tickets on live jobs.

4/05 – 7/06 Paper Buyer, Maximum Graphics Chaska, MN Confirmed and verified quantities as well as paper allocation for each job ticket. Negotiated price and placed orders through preferred paper vendors. Found comparable stocks when availability was limited. Processed all paper claims and returns with suppliers.8/99 – 4/05 Press Operator, Maximum Graphics Chaska, MNResponsible for press set up, maintaining quality (i.e. hickeys, scratches, registration, etc), and press maintenance. As a press operator there needed to be interaction with surrounding departments as well as customers. Press checks were very important in this position. I ran the 540 Heidelberg and other equipment when needed.
