About Brandon Murphy

My name is Brandon Murphy, I am a 19 year old Junior, going into my Senior year at the University of Lynchburg. I have worked part time for multiple law enforcement agencies, and have done thousands of compliance checks throughout southwestern Virginia over the years. I have experience handling money, confidential information, and filing government paperwork. I currently Study Financial Economics, and have taken multiple courses on Economic Perspectives, Managerial Economics, Business Accounting, Intermediate Calculus Economics Courses, Managerial Accounting, and Statistics, among others. I am currently a Deans List student, and plan to add another major or minors before graduation. I have been managing multiple investment portfolios and brokerage accounts since the age of 16, and maintained a return rate as high as 62% in high school. I have experience in stocks, TIPS, mutual funds, money market funds, calls & puts, index funds, and bonds. I am highly proficient with computers, excel, and can type 80+ words per minute. I am currently completing data science certifications, and am seeking local jobs in banking.
