I have been involved in all aspects of research projects from formulating and testing hypotheses, managing databases, running statistics, and interpreting/presenting results. I've accomplished these things by employing an analytical approach to identifying and resolving problems, investigating discrepancies, and quantifying abstract events.A few of the projects I've worked on include:• Transitioning the bulk of data collection across the department away from paper to digital sources, increasing data accuracy and reducing collection time• Conducting presentations for multidisciplinary teams about best practices for statistical analyses, including power analyses and database integrity issue resolution• Identified incorrect analysis process, researched correct method, and presented findings to manager, leading to department-wide changes to improve statistical rigorRecently, my wife found work in the bay area, so we've just moved here from Texas. Going forward, I'm planning to continue to develop my analytical skills by learning SQL, R, and Python through online courses. I'm currently open to new permanent opportunities in the tech industry.
