I am a career Military Language Professional and Language Program Manager recently transitioning to the civilian sector looking for any and all opportunities to challenge my skill set and develop my knowledge of Southeast Asian languages. I have 7.5 years of Cryptologic Language Analysis under my belt with an extensive knowledge of the Analysis and Production chain. My experience with running a Command Language Program also enables gives me great insight on what is required for a language professional to grow and mature their skills, and how to logistically and efficiently achieve these goals on a large scale.During my studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, I've immersed myself in the Data Science and GIS programs as a dual degree earning student. I've elected to take technical classes that add to my analytic toolbox in order to establish myself as a multi-disciplined analyst. I've done various levels of Python OOP, statistical programming in R, database architecture, querying, and database querying/building/administrating in SQL, as well as learned several powerful geospatial analytic and cartography tools by ESRI (Arcmap), as well as the fundamentals of remote sensing. I'm currently doubling down on becoming proficient in machine learning methods and models and applying these techniques to large and complex datasets; some models of which have applications primarily in the field of geospatial data science and geo-AI/ML. In the Spring semester of 2021, I was fortunate enough to take a class in Dynamic Web Applications development, and have become excited to learn more about taking some of my data analysis ideas and transforming them into agile web apps that can be used from anywhere.
