Developed control algorithms and analysis techniques to explore the concept of agility and robustness in walking robots. Implemented a novel meshing technique to explore the viable range of motion for a set of developed control algorithms, leading to decision structures for achieving a given goal in a constrained environment.

Worked on defining and performing the testing needed to mature SpaceX’s space suit design. Headed the design and development of the Air, Oxygen, and Audio delivery system within the suit. Responsibilities included defining and performing suit testing, systems level planning of the vent tree system, design and manufacturing of individual vent tree components.

Assisted in conducting FES based leg stimulation experiments to determine an optimal switching controller, to be used in the rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries. Led the design, development, and implementation of several experimental hardware and test setups, all of which are proved vital to controller development.

Defined and performed testing needed to mature SpaceX's in house space suit design. Focused on creating and carrying out robust testing procedures to investigate agile sealing strategies for the air tight space suit. Relevant experience includes mechanical design of testing equipment, working with in house and outside suppliers and machinists, writing detailed testing procedures and result reports, and carrying out testing and data analysis.

Worked in a small multi-disciplinary team designing a state of the art running robot chassis. Used SolidWorks and its FEA module to design and analyze chassis parts, minimizing cost and part weight while ensuring that the chassis would survive the extreme stresses put on the robot.

Led the design, development, and implementation of testing hardware for the primary robot actuator. Relevant experience includes detailed CAD part design, overseeing outside machining of necessary parts, performing in house machining, implementation of the designed testing hardware, and ensuring that the project remained on budget.
