Hello! My name is Brandon, I am an Army Veteran and I have been working in the Solar Industry for 6 years now. I started out as a temp employee working in Mojave/Lancaster/Rosamond area with a Skid Inverter manufacturer called "PowerElectronics" as an inverter tech. We performed numerous upgrades to transformers, feeders, capacitor replacements and other preventive maintenance measures. I was lucky to one of the temp employees that got to finish out the project which lasted 9 months and then went onto working with an Engineering company out of Paris,Ca called "Stronghold Engineering". While with Stronghold I was put on an Electrical crew with the responsibility of hanging/wiring inverters, work boxes. running underground PVC and installing the transformer on site for a 5 MW Tracking solar site. After finishing the project with Stronghold I took a job in Residential Solar as a crew lead for Sunrun in Bakersfield. After a little over a year with Sunrun I joined another company out of Bakersfield called Heritage Construction and ran a Solar/Battery crew with them for over a year. Over the course of my career I have had the pleasure of working on many different systems from large tracking systems powered by HEM inverters,Ag systems running off of 20 solar edge inverters, to residential solar/Battery systems like solar edge (single,Three phase ), Tesla, Enphase, Schneider, Delta, Goodwe, Franklin,LG. As well as many, many Main Service Panel Upgrades. I am currently taking WECA online courses and studying for my journeyman's license so I can join a team who works on Union Jobs.
