I have played key roles in improving the ease of management and rollout of a large number of firewalls [ 100+ ]. I have also been a key resource in the design and architecture of the rollout of these firewalls.I have a huge amount of experience in managing a lot of firewalls and network infrastructure and have lots of forward thinking ideas of how to accomplish management and monitoring of this infrastructure.I have a diverse knowledge in multiple scripting and programming language and can provide a very rapid deployment for any "home-grown" or purchased/managed solutions for monitoring, alerting, and/or operations if needed.

Designed, implemented, and optimized networks at Consumers energy. Including WAN and LAN that operated on Ethernet, ATM, DWDM, IP-SEC, VPN, and TDM protocols.Extensive knoweledge in IP protocols [ TCP and UDP ] as well as LAN design, NAC [ Network Access Control ]. Also, I am extremely creative in automating tasks as it relates to anything.Authored implementation plan and implemented QoS across Consumers LAN and WAN to facillitate VoIP over the WAN. Accomplished QoS rollout by custom smart QoS scripts written by me.[ scripts installed policy, and determined trust and untrust/access ports based on smart logic determined by the company.] Implemented a system of smart scripts to update QoS system network wide acrossed 540+ switch endpoints in 15-20 minutes. Designed and implemented a policy based routing WAN Optimization implementation involving 240+ routing policies. The WAN Optimization involved approximately 75 sites with each site implementing mutliple policy based route policies in the core data center. Also simplified addition and consistency of roll out by utilizing smart scripts that I authored, this cut down on complexity and increased consistency of configuration.I have extensive knowledege in WAN Optimization relating to Video on Demand and other applications.Authored centralized web-based multicast reachability application that can monitor and report on real-time multicast reachability acrossed enterprise networks [ first application of its kind that I know of ].I was a major role in the design and implementation of network segmentation involving advanced next generation firewalls. I designed configured and installed network based firewalls and management systems for the firewalls at Consumers Energy at 75+ sites at Consumers.I have written a simple Firewall library involving Python and Pexpect that allows for easily automating tasks and configuration of firewalls.

As an intern at Innotec, I was tasked with observing and resolving weak points/sticking points in automated manufacturing. A lot of my tasks included identifying points in the manufacturing process that could improve quality of parts as well as uptime of automated machine processes.I learned ladder logic, Think'N'Do, and updated VB programming while an intern at Innotec.
