Life has this way of putting you on paths you never thought you'd be on and for me it worked out in the best way Imaginable. While pursuing the field of Business in highschool, I took a computer science class involving the usage of dated languages such as Turing and Visual Basic. It was here that my whole plan for the future got turned on its head and my life changed forever. From there on, I started my journey as a Computer Scientist where I begun my studies at the University of Windsor.I enrolled in the Co-op program and in year 2 I earned my first professional contract and was given the task of creating a cross-platform mobile application from the ground up. My second contract involved migrating the backend of various PHP built websites over from MySQL to SQL Server. With my third and final contract, I was given the task to automate data collection using the Microsoft Graph RESTful API. Here I was given no other details and the challenge was to research and build an optimised solution using whatever tools I see fit. This was by far the most rewarding position and my favorite working experience during my time at the University. Outside of school and work, I find myself working on smaller tasks whether it be writing up quick web applications or solving challenging interview questions you find on LeetCode. I also have a passion for teaching and helping others which is why I worked at a Teaching Assistant for various courses over the years. There's something really special about seeing the "Lightbulb Moment" when I'm helping a student. Knowing I've positively impacted others and helped them on their road to success is the true reward when it comes to teaching and I absolutely love it.
