Events And Content Project Manager - Brand Marketing Team
Current*Provides overall Project Management support to Event Managers and Directors.*Work alongside event writers and designers in order to manage all content and creative assets from conception to completion. *Travel as needed to support select events and site visits. *Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as workback schedules and status trackers.*Assist in scheduling and facilitating overall project and key deliverable kick-off calls in order to ensure alignment between project stakeholders and those assigned to generating the content and creative assets. *Consistently monitor and communicate status of the project or deliverable(s) to company stakeholders and agency stakeholders when working with agencies so that all necessary parties can remain informed and as up-to-date as possible.*Respect and adhere to departmental SLAs and bake them into workback schedules in order to provide accurate projected launch dates.*Ensure asset approval processes are followed by company stakeholders and contributors along with any agency stakeholders and contributors in instances when working with agencies. *Schedule regular project review sessions with the appropriate stakeholders and project contributors to keep them abreast of project milestones, scope, estimated timing of deliverable completion, and remain in sync on project expectations and timelines. *Diligently attempt to maintain forward movement of a project in order to prevent scope creep whenever possible and maintain the opportunity to meet deadlines and launch dates. *Report and escalate any at risk project components as needed. Identify and develop contingency plans to mitigate and address the risks. *Hourly and daily maintenance of slack messages, emails, opening and closing of project tickets along with reconciling or responding to direct messages and comments within project and ticketing portals. *Fulfill all other duties as assigned to ensure success of Avalara’s events.
