Currently, I am a volunteer at Folds of Honor's Minnesota Chapter. I am on a committee tasked with creating and maintaining a mentorship program for Folds of Honor scholarship winners. Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and platinum on Guide Star, that provides educational scholarships to the families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled while on active duty in the United States armed forces. FOH recently included first responders to the scholarship program. I have also been mentoring a student who just started working after completing her Master's Degree.Retired from CWT where I was a Supplier Relations Director who offered cross-industry experience in multi-million dollar global business administration, turnaround & transition. Throughout my career, I was recognized for my ability to adapt easily to changing conditions, quickly deliver significant revenue gains, dramatically improve performance & consistently surpass key corporate benchmarks. I offer a history of establishing lucrative strategic partnerships & possess an excellent record of working at all levels of an organization to drive alignment & improved outcomes.I was hand-picked by executive leadership for my last two assignments, creating & implementing CWT’s North American ground transportation supplier strategy and developing a global supplier strategy for CWT’s Energy, Resources & Marine division where I sourced/secured 75+ agreements across multiple markets, regions & countries, boosting YOY revenue in the US by 27% despite a tumultuous time in the energy sector. In my prior role as GSM, The Americas (’06 -‘13), I drove the Latin American supplier management strategy, maintained direct responsibility for a $41M global & North American portfolio & generated YOY increases in supplier revenue in the face of steep industry declines. Prior to CWT, I spent 13 years as the Director of Operations for the Minnesota Vikings where I directed all facets of team & game-day security, logistics management & travel in addition to coordinating multiple playoff games & planning several international team events. Over my tenure, I attained a 95% staff retention rate; consistently reduced operating & travel expenses; & was recognized by NFL executives for creating best practices for post-9/11 security. I earned a B.A. in English/Comm. & have pursued countless hours of training on topics related to achieving organizational excellence & attaining competitive advantage.
