My day is ruled by asking “Is there a better way to do this?” At Maverick Machine & Hydraulics, I keep our business running smoothly – from accounting to HR. I’m always working to improve processes and productivity.Although I work internally keeping our books up to date and streamlining our accounting procedures, my favorite part of my job is working with customers to provide solutions and suggestions to optimize our business relationship. I’m the calm presence on the other end of the line, answering questions with a straightforward communication style.Logical and methodical, I enjoy using step-by-step reasoning to solve a problem. I’m known for helping customers think through an issue, walking with them through each part of a process to understand the impact of a decision.I’ve coordinated with customers’ shipping, purchasing & accounting departments to streamline their internal processes and tie up loose ends. I have also given advice to our customers for managing their inventory, and helped them to identify the most efficient shipping arrangements.Customers trust I’ve thought their payment terms through, and know I can set up flexible payment solutions that make it easy to do business with us. My organized process helps me to keep track of payment schedules and manage a lot of different details at once.These value-added services are what drive customer loyalty. Internally, I bring the same attention to detail in keeping our business partners informed. I enjoy developing and submitting reports to our team of shareholders, extracting meaning from numbers & data, and making recommendations based on my findings.
