With over nine years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, and technology innovation, I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to create solutions for environmental and industrial challenges. As the Chief Technology Officer at SeekOps, I direct the development of hardware, software, manufacturing, and data solutions for emissions monitoring in the oil and gas and renewable natural gas industries, using the cutting-edge technology of tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS). I am driven by the mission of SeekOps to provide accurate, fast, and cost-effective methane detection services that help our clients reduce their environmental impact and improve their operational efficiency. I also value the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team of engineers, scientists, and business professionals, who share my vision and enthusiasm for innovation and excellence.In my current role, I oversee the technology roadmap for the entire organization, including the development of new business strategies using innovative technology. I also manage the intellectual property portfolio, including patent applications, technical publications, and trade secrets, among others. Additionally, I work in close collaboration with the operations department on the implementation of technology, ensuring consistent quality in data products. Previously, as the founder and chief operating officer of SeekOps, I spun off the TDLAS technology developed at NASA JPL for measuring methane emissions in the oil and gas industry, and matured it to a state of pre-production for industrial field application, leading to commercial production for global field services. I also grew the engineering, software, and operations departments in the company from two to 24 employees, and worked closely with business development to grow our customer base from zero to >36, including major and super-major oil and gas companies. Some of the skills that I have developed and utilized in these roles include problem solving, mechanical engineering, and finance and accounting.
