I love all things data. My days are spent applying my skills in modeling, analysis, and visualization to complex projects in the world of weather and energy forecasting. I enjoy the challenge of evaluating temporal and weather-based features to accurately predict customer demand and digging into the nuances of imperfect input data. I’m constantly looking to improve my expertise in data visualization tools to effectively share the story of underlying data. I’m well-versed in developing efficient and automated business processes to aid end users in their day-to-day functions and to evaluate and highlight critical changes or errors. When I’m not building weather maps from the GFS Ensemble with Matplotlib and Cartopy, giving an update on El Niño forecasts for the winter, or elbows deep in a new model, I enjoy playing volleyball, piano, and jamming to some country music.
