Responsible for financial statements, budgets & all accounting for United Benefits Group, the Co-op Retirement Plan, and the UBG 401(k) plans. Manage all systems, websites and technology at United Benefits Group. Direct all United Benefits Group audits including company audits, Defined Benefit Audits, 401(k) Audits, Department of Labor and IRS audits etc. Direct the required ERISA filings such as 5500, 8955-SSA, PBGC, and other filings. Involved in the transition of new 401(k) Plans and the day-to-day communications with employers participating in the Co-op Retirement Plan and UBG 401(k) Plans.

Perform Investment Portfolio Coordination, Investment Policy Compliance Monitoring and required investment-related due diligence for three defined benefit plans administered by Farmland Industries.Performed Investment Portfolio Analysis and prepared special & periodic reports for committee review reflecting the performance of each asset class and manager compared to targeted and peer performance for each plan portfolio.Monitored institutional investment practices and trends, with special emphasis on pension plans, related to portfolio management and to recommend modifications of existing practices and procedures when appropriate.Prepared financial statements & budgets for employee trust department. Ultimately responsible for the accuracy and timely pricing and valuation of mutual funds and other investments for clients.

Managed up to 10 employees. Developed three of those employees to be promoted from Investment Accountant to Senior Accountant Level and one Senior Accountant to Unit Manager Level. As Unit Manager on the PIMCO relationship responsible for fixed income funds with foreign and domestic bonds, futures, swaps, options, io's, ioette's, po's, equities, and various other investment instruments. Funds included multiclass funds and limited partnerships. Involved in several conversions of funds onto new portfolio accounting system and worked on the split of a limited partnership. Known as an expert developing complex spreadsheets used to assist in the pricing and valuation of various complex investment instruments.

I prepared and supervised the preparation of monthly reports, queries, and financial statements to send to mutual fund clients by deadlines. Review of all daily mutual fund pricing for our Group.One of fifteen company-wide members of a Pricing Committee which identified and presented suggested improvements to Company Officers.
