Computer Science is my passion. I've had the opportunity to be a network security manager in the U.S. Army Cyber branch for 4 years and moved into a software engineering role working on a security product. Through my experience I've gained an understanding of cybersecurity at the enterprise level, and agile software development. Being a service member and junior officer has taught me just how important stellar professionals are to a successful organization. Thankfully, I've been able to work with, lead, and learn from plenty of such people. Now that I'm looking to move on, I'm ready to apply myself to be that professional for an organization and a project I can really dive into.When I'm not working at the computer I'm probably indulging one of my many interests. I love seeing the world, and while I travel, I'm always looking for the best hiking spots, restaurants, and bars. I've also picked up an interest in the piano in my adult life, which allows me to express my musical side. Other interests include fitness, gaming (both development and playing), and spoiling my dogs.
