Manage multiple projects which vary in size and complexity. Primary lead on capital construction projects involving administration, hospital personnel and project team consisting of architects, engineers, general contractors, sub-contractors and in house departments (IS, Materials Management, Security, Construction Safety, & Signage). Work directly with customer to identify and establish their needs and goals. Ensures scope of project is clearly defined while working with architect/engineer to establish schematic designs. Consults team members and gathers all information to assemble project budgets. Prepare all required project approval documentation. Provides supervision and coordination with project team to ensure customer’s needs and goals are met on time and within budget. Ensures that proper training is provided to the physical plant operations personnel and/or property management staff. Assists with inspections conducted by State & Local authorities for compliance with Licensure requirements.

Responsible for managing in-house CHS construction projects when the system is acting as its own general contractor. I direct and assists the planning, pricing, scheduling, coordination, and obtaining the necessary information to successfully complete new construction projects while acting as the GC and owners rep. It is my responsibility to supervise, inspect, document, and ensure that the construction complies with the specifications, contract documents and building codes while following our own CHS Safety standards and guidelines.
