I have over 14 years of experience working in leadership roles. Often times, it wasn’t because I had the most years in a role, but because I was tested and proven myself to be the right person for that role. While in Iraq, I was a site lead a small cross-functional team, building unique and tailored intelligence products for not only US forces, but a wide range of US allies that I integrated with seamlessly and frequently. It was some of the most rewarding work I’ve done to date. My efforts, along with those products made a quantifiable difference in helping to achieve the goals of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR).Previously, I worked as a 35N, however due to being the right man for the job, I quickly became one of the showcase SIGINT collectors on top of doing the analytical work. Before I integrated into the military fold, I worked in management positions in the A-Level entertainment world. While not an intuitive parallel, there has been an astounding crossover with experience gained in that world that translates directly into the military day to day. Some of these positions include lead talent scout for a record label, head of marketing for a separate record label, production roles for live performance, and the more scientifically driven audio engineering in a studio on the edge of Hollywood. This diverse background has fundamentally shaped my ability to take a role, lean it, invest myself into that role, and lead in that position. I’m looking forward to speaking with prospective employers and discussing how I can best do my part in helping to bring together the goals and direction envisioned by you, the staff, and the organizations senior leadership!
