The Strategic Planning & Logistics Manager’s primary role is to keep Downstream moving in the right direction by proactively forecasting demand to foster intelligent, well-planned and resourced projects. In short, Downstream is operating at an all-time high across 3 locations globally. The time is right to leverage their great clients and work to date to get new branch offices up and running in strategic locations while also optimizing our process and procedures to execute projects. With this comes planning and strategy of how we do the work and why we do it the Downstream way.The Strategic Planning & Logistics Manager will work across multiple offices to forecast, track, close and maintain projects efficiently and effectively while keeping site of our financial goals. This role has the responsibility of ensuring Downstream’s best practices and tactics are followed and implemented in a timely and proactive basis. As Downstream grows, the Strategic Planning & Logistics Manager serves a primary planning and oversight role in partnership with the Global Operations Team to optimize workflow and business performance at Downstream globally.

Responsible for leading a multi-skilled team of Project Managers as they drive large-scale environmetal and interactive projects from sales through implementation. Extensive focus on operational best practices for large-scale engagements. Strive for highest-quality creative deliverables and results by monitoring all project processes for time and resource efficiencies, schedule adherence, budget management, and quality control. Consistently raise the bar by continually identifying and implementing process improvement solutions.All in all, the Production Manager must understand and be attuned to the details while driving towards the big picture. - Provide strategic direction, troubleshooting, and solution-oriented digital expertise for interactiveprojects.- Coordinate and manage agency PMs, internal teams, vendors, third-party providers, etc. - Monitor day-to-day activities of the Project Management team and ensure work is progressing asplanned- Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance- Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback- Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to clients, team members and executive management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels- Proactively identify opportunities and implement improvements; evangelize the Downstreamproject management methodology and project processes- Lead the training/mentoring of Project Managers on Downstream project managementmethodologies and best practices as required
