Serves as Director, Total Force Manpower Management (N1) at Commander, Navy Region Southwest (CNRSW). In this role, I oversee the civilian human resources, equal employment opportunity, civilian and military training/workforce development, Drug Free Workplace programs for civilians and military, manpower and manning, and lastly casualty affairs and funeral honors for the region and its subordinate commands in California, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada.

Served as Deputy to the N1 Director, overseeing two organizations, Total Force Manpower & Personnel (N1) and Command Administration (N04C) for Naval District Washington, which includes Naval Support Activities in Annapolis (US Naval Academy), Bethesda (Walter Reed), Dahlgren, Indian Head, and Washington (Camp David, Naval Observatory, Washington Navy Yard); Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; and Naval Air Station Patuxent River).

Officer in Charge of Personnel Support Detachment (PSD) Fort Meade, MD , PSD Patuxent River, MD and Customer Service Detachment Dahlgren, VA. PSD Fort Meade, PSD Patuxent River and CSD Dahlgren provide pay, personnel, and transportation services over 170 customer commands, more than 8,000 military and nearly 50,000 DoD civilians, in addition to retirees in the surrounding areas of Fort Meade, MD, Annapolis, MD, Patuxent River, MD and Dahlgren, VA.

Oversees officer and enlisted distribution for MSC Headquarters, Sealift Logistics Commands and Prepositioning Squadrons. Ensures MSC billet assignments are filled as required with personnel possessing proper qualifications.1 of 27 Officers nominated for the FY13 Human Resources Junior Officer of the Year Award.

Provided leadership and management to 14 Sailors responsible for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the DDG 51 Radio Communications Suite.

Managed 8 Sailors in all aspects of maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all auxiliary equipment and systems.
