I have spent a large portion of my career working for the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, specifically in the Illinois Ticket Office. This office is in many ways the front line for fan and donor interactions as well as for the University as a whole. As a centralized hub for campus event tickets, many constituents, both internal and external, are considered in all decision-making processes. Live event ticketing has changed vastly since I began my career, largely due to advances in technology. I have prioritized keeping up to date with industry trends as well as emerging technological advances and software platforms. Intercollegiate athletics by nature is a fast-paced, results driven environment where even the best laid plans need multiple adjustments. Outside of the office, traveling the globe and learning about other people and cultures has become a passion of mine. When I took my first trip to Europe a feeling unlike any other I had experienced was unlocked. A feeling I haven’t been able to shake. In my travels, I have been to thirteen different countries in North America, Europe and the Caribbean as well as 34 different States in the US. And, I’m just getting started. I believe that experiencing different foods, cultures, and ways of life makes you a better global citizen.
