I have recently accepted a position as Public Works Superintendent with the Village of Northbrook. Thanks to all who have supported and encouraged me throughout my career.

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and production of potable water at the City's Lake Michigan Water Treatment Plant. Brian joined Baxter & Woodman, Inc. in May 2003 where he specialized in water and wastewater system operations, maintenance planning assistance, training, and troubleshooting, and brought his extensive knowledge to the firm’s municipal clientele. Brian has served as a Project Manager on numerous projects and is certified by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency as a Water and Wastewater Operator. Brian was also an instructor with the Illinois Section AWWA and provided water operator training at the McHenry County College. Brian was also the firm’s Assistant Safety Officer and was responsible for providing annual safety training and new employee safety training. Brian joined the company in March 1998 and was responsible for sales of water and sewer related material in Lake, McHenry, Winnebago, Du Page and portions of Cook counties in northern Illinois. During his tenure with the company, Brian conducted training for municipalities, engineers and contractors on the products the company represented. He was responsible for the sales and customer service for his territory and made significant inroads in the sales market to which he was assigned.
