I began my career as an installer and designer almost 20 years ago at a sign shop on Staten Island. Over the last two decades, I have developed a keen understanding of how images look and appeal to viewers once placed on different mediums – paper, billboard, window, awning, vehicles, etc. I have done installations at such marquee venues and locations as Madison Square Garden and Times Square. I have also done work at high-end shops located in and around the tri-state area. My schooling and passion is in graphic design with a strong focus in marketing and management. I have the innate ability to transform a mundane design into an eye-popping graphic. Culling inspiration from pop culture, media, urban surroundings and my own unique sense of style, I have created many beautiful designs, logos and graphics for a wide variety of companies representing a broad spectrum of interests. I am constantly drawing and doodling to challenge myself to come up with fresh and innovative ideas. In addition to my degree in graphic design, I hold a business degree focusing in management and marketing. When I conceive a graphic for a client, I make sure to collaborate with them on how to best align that illustration with their business's branding, marketing and messaging needs so that there is immediate recognition and maximum exposure among their targeted customer base, as well as the general public. My sense of business acumen also means I am mindful of profit margins and the company’s bottom line, while also being respectful of the customer’s budget.   For almost 6 years, I had supervised the NYPD sign shop, overseeing a small team of designers. When hired in 2015, I created and built what is now the NYPD Sign Shop, as a graphic artist and was promoted to title of Supervisor in 2016.  In the beginning of 2022 I was looking to once again challenge myself and went into the construction field to run the Design Department for Edgewood Properties as their Design Manager. As one of the largest residential and commercial builders in New Jersey my department handles all aspects of design, marketing and signage for almost 30 residential properties and over 75 commercial plazas.I am highly motivated and ensure my team is as well in order to provide the best product possible. I help create and fulfill visions, while also monitoring the progress of current projects to ensure deadlines are met. I am constantly juggling several projects at once, and have excellent time-management skills. A strong, independent thinker, I can be relied on to make sound decisions and judgment calls.
