About Brian Bright
I have seen many sides of game development in my over 26-year career. As the Co-Op Design Director for Call of Duty: Zombies at Infinity Ward, I led the team to create a unique take on the popular survival mode in COD. At Neversoft, I managed the development team to create the original co-op raid mode IP "Extinction", featured in Call of Duty: Ghosts. These projects relied on thinking outside the box and working well with many cross functional departments, both at the developer and publisher level. As Project Director for the Guitar Hero franchise, I developed new game features and acted as the public face of the game. I also led the design of instrument game controllers and the music studio creator mode. Previously, I was a Game Director for three Tony Hawk games. My team successfully released a new title game every year with a new story, skaters, levels, features, and mechanics. My first 8 years at Activision were spent moving up from the role of Audio Designer to Executive Producer. I created sound effects and music for many iconic games throughout the 1990s and moved into Production during this time. In the years following, I oversaw production for many of Activision's action sports games under the O2 label.
Listed skills include Video Game Development, Video Game Design, Gameplay, Console, and 20 others.
