Managed the development and creation of all print, online and event marketing collateral for Kalatel, Inc. (Corvallis). Sales increased dramatically in each of the three years I managed their campaign. Ultimately General Electric acquired the client and, in a somewhat unusual move, retained myself and Sanda instead of handing the new acquisition off to an internal GE marketing team. Later served as Director of Business Development, securing several new clients (Portland State, LBCC, State of Oregon Community Colleges and others) and managing all projects associated with these clients. Eventually worked solely as a contractor for Sanda – leading to the creation of The Brooks Group.

Responsible for marketing six Lee print properties throughout the Northwest – primarily the Corvallis Gazette-Times and Albany Democrat-Herald.
