Brian Carter Biography NEW YORK As a music major in SUNY New Paltz, Purchase Conservatory and Creative Music Studio I knew I had to get a job after college. I got a job at MCI, which led to Dollar Dry Dock Bank, then Dime Savings Bank in the Mortgage Dept. In 1996 I formed BMC Productions Mortgage Co. and closed 22 Million dollars over the first twelve years. When the NMLS era began BMC Productions Mortgage Co. was on the sidelines. For me as always I was keeping music as a central part of my life, and teaching and performing music did begin bear fruit. Now once again BMC Productions Mortgage Co. is back and fully licensed. It has been a long road back and we are eager to serve your mortgage needs.Music Bio:International, professional Jazz drummer, percussionist, arranger, and composer Brian Carter, formed his own quartet, the Brian Carter Quartet (BC Quartet) in 1998, and has been performing in the United States and internationally in Canada and Europe. The BC Quartet performs Traditional Jazz/Fusion Jazz. The quartet performances include working with Jazz Artists: Bob Baldwin, Tony Cimorosi, Ken Gioffre, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Didier Lockwood, Gil Parris, and many more. Carter is a music legend in the Westchester County area, working as a sideman and a session drummer for premier Westchester County Studios.Since 2007, Brian Carter, has been working as the liaison with La Rochelle, the French organizers of “Association of Jazz In Aout” to create an International Music Cultural Jazz Exchange Program between La Rochelle, France and his native New Rochelle. September 2012, the Brian Carter Quartet performed at the inaugural White Plains International Food & Jazz Festival with other local Westchester County Artists: Reegal Beegal (Jazz/Reggae), Westchester Jazz Orchestra (Contemporary Jazz), and Bob Baldwin (Contemporary Jazz).July 2012, Brian Carter, the founding member of the New Rochelle Jazz Festival, “Jazz In July” was extensively involved in organizing the “Jazz in July” Festival, which is a prelude to the “Jazz In Aout” Festival in La Rochelle, France. During the months of June and July, the BC Quartet performed at local venues in New Rochelle leading up to the Festival “Jazz In July.”When Brian Carter is not performing at festivals or local gigs, he spends his time as a Music Educator. His passion for music and music education moved him to create two successful programs that cultivate the gift inside of a child: Kid’s For Drums and Westchester Rocks Music Camp. He is passing the gift of music on to the next generation!
