My role is to help create and strengthen relationships with Life Centers and its church (150+) and ministry (30+) partners.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

As Director of Events and Communications I was responsible for promoting and running all events for Life Centers. These events included three Celebration of Life Banquets (cumulative attendance over 3,000 and revenues over $1 million) and six Walk/Run for Life events (cumulative revenue over $270,000). In addition, I was responsible for all forms of communication: websites, email newsletters (5,000+ subscribers), social media (2,000+ followers), print, mailings (6,000+ recipients), and displays. During my time as Director of Events and Communications, I led the rebranding process for both client (Pregnancy Choices Indy) and donor (Life Centrers) brands. This extended into a project that included new signage at all eight centers and the administration office. I also led the project that saw both websites rebuilt from the ground up. Life Centers (formerly known as Central Indiana Crisis Pregnancy Centers) is a group of eight pregnancy centers in the greater Indianapolis area that provide free services such as pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling and support services to help women have the ability to choose parenting or adoption for their children.

College Park Church

I joined Pastor Dale Shaw to start the Local Outreach department at College Park Church. Over that time we identified and formed 13 major partners, started the Local Outreach Council, created budgeted funding streams for many ministries and began the Brookside project. Over time we saw tremendous transformation in the Brookside neighborhood (considered the poorest by many metrics) and the planting of a church. During my time at College Park Church, I also had the opportunity to help administrate changes to the membership process as we saw the church membership nearly double. I was also a part other projects such as several all church mailings and the redesign of many communication pieces.
