I am a graduate of The Ohio State University. My thesis was focused on analysis of ultra high energy astroparticle physics. I have learned many techniques in analysis and hope to apply them to an industry position.I moved into a data science position at American Electric Power. There, I applied my knowledge and critical thinking skills to a variety of projects, including machine learning and containerized systems. During this tenure, I was also able to shadow a regulation company's payout model and find several issues which that company had to fix. I moved into a Energy Market Modeling Analyst role. In this role, I dove more deeply into machine learning algorithms and forecasting. I was able to create novel approaches to improve accuracy in forecasting price by >10%.
