I began work with the Georgia Department of Public Health on August 31, 2020. The position was a full-time contact tracer working as part of a team to monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in Georgia. I was originally hired to work there for nine months but continued working for the GDPH when funding for such positions was continued. The position was mostly remote, and I worked in the Athens district (10-0).When COVID-19 rates declined, I transitioned to mainly doing data entry/cleaning for the GDPH. We used Microsoft Excel and a database to enter information for the district and state.

I worked as part of a team to help with set up and break down for events. I also provided office support for athletic events. After earning college credit for the internship and graduating in December 2018, I worked events for them as a volunteer.

I worked in the NFL Shop at the JW Marriott Hotel in Buckhead for MainGate Inc. My primary duties were running the cash register, bagging, and restocking the supplies. I also helped unload the truck where the supplies were kept. We sought to provide a superior level of customer service to our customers. The position was temporary, as we were selling Super Bowl LIII memorabilia before this year's big game.

I wrote occasional articles for the UGA student newspaper.

I performed a variety of tasks on a daily basis at Publix. At Publix, our top priority was premier customer service, so I treated all customers with respect and assisted them with any questions they might have had. Job duties I performed on a daily basis included cleaning the front end, assisting customers with carryout, and bagging groceries. Other days, it sometimes involved carrying heavy items, helping customers locate store items, informing customers about weekly sales, and stocking certain items on the front end. When needed, I also assisted managers by stocking the frozen food section.

I served as a Staff Writer for a website dedicated to quality sports writing and forums. I was part of a team covering the Georgia Bulldogs and published a number of feature stories and forum posts.

My responsibilities included engaging with customers on a daily basis while maintaining a fast work pace, providing friendly customer service, bagging groceries, assisting customers with carry-out when needed, cleaning the store, helping customers locate store items, bringing shopping carts in from the parking lot, stocking the frozen food and dairy sections of the store and unloading delivery trucks. I have some experience running the cash register and setting up for meetings as well. My daily duties depended on what was needed on that particular work day.

I provided loving care to dogs and cats while their owners were away on vacations or business trips. I made sure all of the pets I watched received enough food, water and exercise. I served as a sitter for numerous families, but my most common customer was a neighbor, Chuck Bentley. Mr. Bentley serves as the CEO of Crown Financial Ministries.
