I've worked in the shrink packaging industry since the early 90's. I started as a field technician and then spent nearly 15 years in a sales role and eventually moved into several management positions. Through much of that time, I also provided technical and sales training for channel partners and end users. My time as a technician helped ground me in the fundamentals of how the equipment and film interact. In my sales role, I developed people skills and learned the process of selling value. Prior to this, in the U.S. Air Force, I learned the importance of chain of command and following orders. In my new role as Regional Sales Manager I try to use all those skills to uncover the customer's needs so that we may present the best solution for each application.
