Below is a selection of the top accomplishments from my career: • Creating and leading a new unit within the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) to combat the emerging opioid crisis, supporting the US government in stemming the flow of opioids into the US and playing an active role in gaining cooperation from the Chinese government by gathering relevant data and strategically crafting talking points.• Securing a buy-in from multiple high-level actors engaging with INL, including leadership of both US and foreign national governments, to support and lead innovative, high-impact global programs that improved global health across anti-corruption, drug demand reduction, cybersecurity, and clinical research fields.• Leading efforts to reorganize INL’s Office of Global Policy and Programs to align official government policy with all aspects of global programs and enable data-based approach to combating global narcotics flow.• Negotiating a common U.S. position on the renewal of the Columbia River Treaty to balance goals of flood control, energy production, and access of indigenous peoples for both US and Canada.I am excited to expand my professional network and see what the future may hold.
