I am a Senior Partner with Allison+Partners as well as General Counsel, APG. Allison+Partners is one of the nation's fastest growing strategic communications, public relations and public affairs firms. I am an experienced public affairs and media relations strategist. I specialize in advocacy and public affairs, and have worked with an array of clients and organizations to provide a variety of grassroots, coalition building and political intelligence services throughout the United States.Prior to joining Allison+Partners I was the managing principal of the Edison Group. I have had the opportunity to speak to numerous groups around the country on topics including federal legislation, all aspects of healthcare and politics and elections. I have managed numerous state and national projects for corporate clients, trade associations and non-profits. Prior to serving as a public affairs consultant, I was an attorney; and am a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Over the years I have been incredibly active in state and national politics, and have worked for the Clinton-Gore campaigns as well as other numerous Congressional and state campaigns in the Southeast.I have served on the Planned Parenthood of Georgia (PPG) Board for six years and previously served as Chair of the Public Affairs Committee, Chair of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund of Georgia (PPAFG) and currently serve on the Steering Committee of Vote Choice, a political action committee of PPAFG. I also served on the national PPFA Board member for six years as well as serving on the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and as Chair of the Planned Parenthood Federal PAC. I currently serve on the Board of New American Leaders, leading a movement for inclusive democracy by preparing first and second generation Americans to use their power and potential in elected office.
