I’m a highly experienced International Director & Fire Officer for over 40 years, working in both the USA and UK , with the Texas A&M University Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) and formally the London Fire Brigade within central London, serving at the busiest Rescue station in Europe. Being a creative thinker, transformational leader, coach and tutor, with extensive experience in dynamic leadership, office management and human performance who inspires people to understand the significance and purpose of their responsibilities and take ownership of them; with a sense of pride and fulfilment.A former senior manager having responsibilities spanning operational and training budgets, strategic and operational response planning, team management, Health and Safety, Disaster recovery planning, training and assessment. Served as Training Director within TEEX Disaster Preparedness and Response Division in College Station, Texas, which included management of the world famous Disaster City prior to being promoted to lead the International Team within the Emergency Services Training Institute (ESTI) Division, TEEX responsible for all international contracts worldwide and managing TEEX training centres in four continents.I have excellent negotiation skills together with establishing and developing long-term sustainable customer relationships.An Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) subject matter expert being awarded the USAR Specialist Diploma” by the A&M University in 2012.
