In this position I am responsible for consulting with orthopedic surgeons during trauma procedures on the use of our products. DepuySynthes also partners with the AO to help educate professionals in the medical field. To this end I attend meetings and support the AO as they train physicians and surgery personnel through direct product training and breakout.

My responsibilities included developing new accounts, being knowledgeable of operating room procedures and total joint products. I assisted surgeons in surgical procedures which utilized our products. This position helped me gain valuable experience and confidence which is critical to being successful in the surgical environment.

I would follow the sales cycle from cold calling, to prospecting, closing the business, and then provide continued service to the client to gain more referrals. I was also responsible to stay current on the technology used for medical imaging in order to speak.
