It wasn’t long before we built a 10 gallon brewery, taking over a 2-car garage in the process. But it wasn’t enough—our beer was disappearing as fast as we could make it. Before we knew it, we were supplying family gatherings, holiday parties, and weddings. Our only problem was that more often than not, there was nothing left for us to drink.By early 2009, we saw an opportunity to bring Fulton to more of the Twin Cities. We still brewed our test batches 10 gallon at a time in Fulton, but we had to find a bigger brewery to make enough Fulton for everyone. We eventually settled on Sand Creek Brewery in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. It was a 5 hour round-trip each time we brewed—not an ideal situation, but it allowed us to make Fulton for everyone. And what could be more fun than sharing a great beer with friends?In the Fall of 2010, we signed the lease for our soon to be brewery in Downtown Minneapolis, and one year later, were brewing beer in our own brewery. We opened for growler sales in November of 2011, and opened the first brewery taproom in Minneapolis in March of 2012. We're open every Thursday and Friday from 3-10, and Saturday from 12 - 10. We also open before every home Twins game, and do free tours every Saturday at 1, 2, 3, and 4. If you don’t see us on tap at your local, ask when they’re getting Fulton. Look for us in liquor stores across the Twin Cities. We currently have 2 year round styles, release a seasonal every 3 months or so, and are doing fun, one off batches every couple of months. I am thrilled that I get to wake up every day and work on something I am truly passionate about. It's been a fun few years, and why not? Beer is fun!
