I have been in the IT industry since 1984 starting at Computer Parts and Services in the warehouse shipping and receiving and refurbishing IBM systems including Systems 32,34,36,38 and Series 1. Eventually worked my way into a Technician roll doing in-house hardware upgrades and traveling the country upgrading these IBM mainframes at end-user sites. I worked at a few other smaller start-up companies doing the same stuff for the next few years still in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area. Another stint at CPS years later found me as the warehouse/inventory and technical manager. Since then I have spent years at World Data, Workstations Hardware and eventually finding my home at Vibrant. 39 years of watching technology evolve has been very fun/interesting and educational !
