Manage 75 people, 3 production floors, including three class 8 cleanrooms. 30 molding machines 50 - 260 tons and 3 high speed automation cells. • Proficient in setting up 2 shot molds, 3 shot molds, hot runner, hot oil molds, rotating platens and auxiliary equipment. • Handling start-ups / shut-downs, material changes, insert changes and color changes as needed. • Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results.• Monitor molding process and resolve injection molding press issues as needed.• Help create production documentation to include set-up photos and work instructions.• Multiple positions during my time at MGS including, Process Technician, 1st Shift Back -Up Supervisor and 3rd Shift Supervisor• Responsibilities include staffing, training and hiring new full time employees, resolving personnel conflicts, time and attendance. • 30 injection molding machines, two clean rooms, assembly areas and four automated assembly workstations.
