Brian Keith is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the $1B+ Diagnostics business unit. He brings to PerkinElmer over 30 years of experience in the Life Science, Technology and Diagnostics industry sectors. He joined PerkinElmer in 2007 through the Viacell Stem Cell Banking acquisition. In his current role, he leads a global team of financial operations professionals based in the US, Europe, China and India responsible for the Diagnostics commercial support, mergers & acquisitions analysis, financial strategy, working capital management, execution and oversight of all division finance functions. Earlier in his tenure at PerkinElmer, Mr. Keith also served as Senior Director of North American Genetic Screening and previously, Senior Director of Sales Operations and Finance at Viacell , with responsibilities for business development, sales analytics in addition to his oversight of the finance function.Prior to joining PerkinElmer, Mr. Keith held key financial and business operations management roles over 10 years in the Networking industry at Nortel Networks/Bay Networks/Wellfleet, including Director of Business Planning; Director of Product Planning and Director of Marketing Operations.His other experience includes Sales and Financial roles at Merrill Lynch, Xerox Corporation and Wang Laboratories.He received a B.S. in Engineering and a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MSA in Accounting from Bentley University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
